ANNUAL MAINTENANCE PLANS FOR DOMESTIC GATE SYSTEMS

     Terms & Conditions 

    1. Please ensure all details of your order are correct (i.e., Colour, Style, Hinges Etc). 

    2. Payment to be made immediately on completion. Interest of 2% per day will be charged on any outstanding amounts. 

    3. All goods remain the property of 1st Call Electric Gates Ltd until paid in full. 

    4. We cannot guarantee against the natural movement, splits or shakes of timber 

    Products. 

    5. Due to timber products movement etc your gates may need adjusting from time to time. We can also not be accountable for any ground movement that may occur. 

    6. You will be responsible for the regular treating of natural products. 1st Call Electric Gates Ltd cannot be held responsible for any mould spores attaching to the gates or discolouration of the gates once they are installed. 

    7. When we are installing the goods at your premises it is your responsibility to ensure 1st Call Electric Gates Ltd are notified of any utilities that may be in the way. You must check prior to our arrival and notify us in writing/email. 

    8. You are responsible for ensuring any brick walls, pillars or posts are substantial enough to hold the gates we will be installing. We cannot be held responsible if any walls, pillars/posts become damaged when we install on to them. 

    9. Please check gates on final installation for any damage. Although this is rare once the paperwork is signed off it will be hard to prove if the items were damaged. 

    10. When we are installing your gates you agree to us removing the gates and any items owned by 1st Call Electric Gates Ltd from your property without further notice or permission if you have not paid in full. 

    11. Your gates will require regular maintenance. We can provide a maintenance plan for you please ask for details. 

    12. Gates that are powder coated must be cleaned and maintained. Any damage after installation is not covered under the warranty. 

    13. Products are covered by a 2-year warranty. 

    14. Installation is covered by a 2-year warranty. 

    15. The following are not covered under warranty: – 

    • Slug or insect damage. 
    • Fire 
    • Flood 
    • Third party damage
    • Forcing of the gates by a vehicle 
    • Vandalism

    16. If an installation has been booked in by both parties, clarified via email, and confirmed, and the site is not ready for us when we arrive on site. Then a standard fee of £500 will be charged, to cover any loss of earnings.
